PIT Class Information
Counterbalanced Forklift Class
Counterbalanced forklifts are the most common in the marketplace. These workhorse forklifts come in a sit-down propane, electric and stand up electric.
This class covers the safe operations of this lift type specifically, including stability triangle, ramps, seat belts, load height, traveling rules and all other OSHA 1910.178 guideline topics. This class will take about 90 minutes to complete and you will receive a digital license when you have completed the training.

Professional License
All Training Classes* come with a digital license/evaluation form when you complete your test. For those that want a professional, hard plastic license, you can purchase this now or when you order your class for an additional $25.00.

OSHA 1910.178 requires that operators take a formal trainiing class, review faciltiy rules and hazards and be evaluated on the lift they will be driving before operating a lift at a facility.This training satisfies the OSHA requirement for formal training.

This class is a single-PIT (forklift) class that will cover safe operations for counterbalanced lifts ONLY. This includes both stand up and sit-down counterbalanced lifts as well as propane and electric powered.
